Want to create a personalized car tag using your favorite photo? Follow these guidelines to help us produce the best possible result.

PHOTO REQUIREMENTS

Please upload the original, highest-quality version of your photo whenever possible. Screenshots, social-media downloads, blurry images, and heavily cropped photos may not print clearly.

Horizontal photos usually work best because our aluminum car tags measure 12 × 6 inches.

KEEP IMPORTANT DETAILS AWAY FROM THE HOLES

Our car tags contain four mounting holes. Please make sure faces, names, dates, logos, and other important details are positioned away from the marked hole areas.

If a face or important detail is too close to a mounting hole, we may need to reposition, crop, or resize your photo. Some photos may not have enough extra background space to make these adjustments without affecting the finished design.

FOR THE BEST RESULTS, PLEASE SEND:

• The original, full-resolution photo
• A horizontal image whenever possible
• A photo with space around each person’s face
• The exact names, dates, colors, and wording you want included
• Any special placement or design requests

Use our 12 × 6 inch custom car tag template to preview where your photo, text, and important details should be placed.

The green area represents the recommended safe area. Keep all important content inside the green line and away from the red mounting-hole zones. Photos, patterns, and background colors should extend to the outer red edge.

PLEASE NOTE

Mounting-hole placement may vary slightly between car tag blanks. Colors may also appear slightly different depending on your screen and the printing process.
